	Beyond The Pale presents a highly entertaining variety of traditional Celtic instrumentals and songs and original compositions by the members. Performances emphasize audience participation and the band weaves a colorful mixture of fiery reels, jigs ,haunting airs and ballads with the occasional touch of blues, contemporary folk or cajun music. Band members have studied traditional Celtic music in Ireland and Scotland and have been performing together for five years at a variety of venues including festival, concert and clubs throughout the region. Beyond the Pale are: Gordon McLeod on fiddle, guitar, vocals, mandolin, bass and harmonica; Patrick Thurmond on Highland bagpipes, small pipes, mandolin, whistles, and harmonica ; Christy McLeod on guitar, harmonica, bodhran and vocals. Strange Turns Strange Turns is the lates release by Beyond The Pale. It is concise, professional and expertly performed. The group has expanded, evolved and is currently one of the most exciting groups listed with Bandstore.
