Donohoe: is a native of Cavan Ireland who emigrated to Georgia USA in
1984. These songs were collected at many happy nights of singing held at the Donohoe
home. Througout her childhood and at Irish music festivals. This lovely lady gives
an enchanting voice to favorite Irish songs on this relaxing CD. Kathleen
provides both vocals guitar and bodhran. You'll love the beautful backing
instruments provided by Debra Paterson, Warren Calvert, Doug Olsen, Brian Fleming, Donal
O'Connor, Michael Vignoles and David Shew. The CD includes tin whistle, harp,
fiddle, guitar, uilleann pipes and bass guitar. The production is very nice, generally a
very well done album. |
