 Liz Myers is a songwriter,
singer, pianist and producer. She has written scores for three films, one of which was
nominated for an Academy Award. She has received gold and platinum records for songs
she has written, and industry recognition for television themes and advertising
underscores. Having lived in Paris, New York and Los Angeles, she has collaborators
in these cities as well as London and Stockholm. Le Rendez-Vous is her first self-written solo venture. It was recorded in London and Los Angeles with her favorite musicians: friends of hers who have record with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel, Frank Zappa, and Tina Turner.
The songs are in both English and French. Liz thinks one language in't enough. More than just a CD, it is a story and includes a book with photos as a jewel case insert. The poems in the story become the lyrics in the songs.
