 Rom Ryan has been a
life-long musician playing a variety of instruments professionally including piano, sax,
flute and guitar. Always interested in composition, he found the restrictions of working
within specific genres unfulfilling. This led to an exploration of the common threads that
are shared by traditional music and the concept of composition through the collaboration
of cultures. This hybrid sound makes his music seem both familiar and new. Terrence Karn has always been surrounded by European and Mediterranean dance and music. He has been involved with theater and dance from a young age, studying at the Royal Winnepeg Ballet and the Minneapolis Children's Theater. His interest in hand drums led to his studies at the Ali Akbar Khan School in California. |
