Sia LaBelle
has played American folk music in small
venues across Europe, and headed the popular
all-girl Country Lace in Hawaii. In the early
Eighties she toured with a 50's Rock Revival Show
that included her father, Nick Masters, who was
also lead guitar for Bill Haley's Comets for over
20 years. Sia discovered her Scottish heritage
as an adult and has since delved into its history
and culture to present her particularly simple,
beautiful style of Texas Celtic music. She is now
singing in Scottish festivals across Texas and
the South, leaving strong impressions everywhere.
With a distinctly hopeful, inspiring outlook, she
weaves the two cultures into seamless art, and
has often been nicknamed the "Scottish Patsy
Cline".
